Book Club- Dawn Raid

In class time most of the year 4 to 8s have been doing book club and each day we have to read 13 pages a day and also when we read the 13 pages we have a discussion ticket and we have to answer what our favorite paragraph was and what figurative language is and vocaburlary and a discusion seed my favorite part is when the dad says one kid one brain two kids half brain three kids no BRAIN!!.

Polygon Match

 

I've learnt the names of the polygon shapes and how many sides there is in each shape.

Geometry

 Today I learnt how to tell what is a polygon and what is not.

A polygon is a shape that is 2D (flat) ,its made of straight lines, its a closed figure all of the lines connect, and it has no intersecting lines.

Athletics

on November the 2nd me and a heap of kids from year 4-8 was doing athletics our first activity was middle distance running we had to run 1200 meters just to qualify for zones so me and a group of friends decided to not do middle distance so instead we were walking jogging skipping and sprinting so we came last and then our next activity was discus so i don't really know howto throw a discus it doesn't really glide and spin it goes flunky and yep but i got first place and then my next activity was shot put and i knew hot to throw that and i came first then we went over to high jump and im not really good at high jump i only reach the height of one metre twenty two i think and i came in the top 5 and then our other one was long jump and i came 2nd with four metre seven and our last one was sprints and i came 2nd in my first heat so i still went to the finals and then on that race i came first but i reckon i came 2nd so that was the end of the day and then on that day i had a touch game and i was saw and tired so the next day i was in heaps of muscle pain and yea that was it
